Donna Stelling-Gurnett is a passionate and committed leader with over 30 years of experience in non-profit and association management.  Donna currently serves as the Vice President of Association Management Services for Hinman Straub, PC. After decades of experience leading associations, her strengths include strategic planning, communications, membership engagement, educational programming, and policy advocacy work.

Before she joined Hinman Straub, Donna served as the President of the Association of Private Colleges (APC) for 11 years.  APC represents 12 degree-granting, primarily family founded colleges in New York State that are dedicated to educational excellence, access and affordability.  APC successfully advocates at both the State and Federal level for fair and equitable policies and regulations that support the private sector and the students they serve.

Prior to her work with APC, Donna spent 15 years in the Boston area working with patient advocacy and medical surgical groups such as the National MS Society, the Scleroderma Foundation, the Thoracic Surgery Foundation for Research and Education and the Congenital Heart Surgeons Society.
